I’ve had problems with the laptop several times since I recieved it. Sometimes it will not come on whether the power cord is plugged in or not. And then sometimes it’ll come on just fine. I’d say I’ve had this problem at least 3 times. I don’t know this problem, I would like it fixed, whatever it takes as long as it doesn’t cost me anymore.

Well first of all, I got this item and after two days it started to have some sporratic issues. Issues like crashing when trying to open Internet Explorer. Then, on the third day, it perfectly died. Wouldnt even turn on. I sent it back and got another one. So, here I am on the second computer. For the past two days, I have been trying to map out why I am getting the same issue that developed with the first one (crashing during activating IE). I ran Windows Diagnostic tests, reminiscence tests, and the repair tool. It is working now.
I hope this computer is really fixed and not Amazon or HP’s attempt to get my money from a broken prouduct. I own a HP DV6 Pavillion series (a seriously powerful computer) and have been very pleased with it. HP will lose a lot of my respect if this computer is not fully refurbished and breaks down again.
My HP was defective. The screen came black and a continuous rumor made it unusable for 15 minutes.

PROs: Excellent price, Excellent weigh of power and reminiscence for the average user.
CONs: Within the first week, the screen would just go blank – couldn’t tell what was incorrect. Cold boots by the wife and kids fixed the problem every time. It started happening multiple times a day, so I took a look and found that the video feed between the CPU and the screen must have a small. The screen may possibly be adjusted and the video would flicker back on, but most of the time wouldn’t stay on.
I am returning the unit now and will hold something else.
