   We bought a second copy of this book from Amazon in January, and decideed to return it, unopened, as we resolute to use the Windows 7 instead of safeguarding our second machine, after a mixed experience with the copy of first order.    It’s more a Microsoft Windows issue positively. I have XP, VISTA (shit), and Windows7. I am not able to return to another machine on the network. The backup on DVD seems to have worked (do not know if I tried to renovate from it). Takes too much time and too many DVDs to be practical. Hang on to your installation disks, save the mission critcal copying files everyplace and that’s about the best you can do. The buy of this product has been atrophied money. Rating: 1 / 5

   About 6 years I used Ghost 9. 0 to make a backup of my PC. As my hard drive crashed recently, I lost some personal photos that were only available on this backup. Over the years, I upgraded to Ghost 10. 0, Ghost 2003, and just bought Ghost 15. 0. I tried to renovate ancient backups, only to have Ghost 15. 0 refuse to play the Ghost 9 image restoration. The subsequent is a transcript of the help call I made to Symantec (Norton): Rathish: it is a ghost image 9 V2i which is not supported by Norton Ghost 15.M. Mark Allen: Ok, so how can I renovate my backup? Mark Allen: How can I renovate my backup, made with your product. . . ? Rathish: only using Norton Ghost 9, you can renovate the image. As you can see above, this software is a waste of time!
