I have a vista recovery disc for a Gateway laptop. Is it safe to use on an HP PC?

I want to format my Hewlett Packard PC and install Outlook. I have a Outlook recovery disc but it’s for a Gateway laptop. Can it be used?

to my knowledge, yes. Because outlook is an operating system, its designed for use with any computer, not just a brand. But you need to make sure that it is the right version. (32 bit will differ from 64 bit, depending on how much ram you have on the computer)

Question an expert like at geek squad, or just call microsoft, or gateway, or hp. i force be incorrect.

How to recover lost photos from memory card?

My aunt accidently left her 1GB SD reminiscence card in her jeans, and then tossed them into the laundry.

Now, her digital camera says it cannot read the reminiscence card.

She’s really upset, because she had over 300 pics on it, and now she can’t get to them.

How can she recover these photographs?

blockbuster has a fiing macine for that. It melts down teh compounds and regenerated it, and coold it. Its about to get ti fixed. If not you can always go to a computer specilist who can regenerate the chip’s images that are still constructable for around .

Advice on Lenova Thinkpad T61?

I am now researching into purchasing a laptop, and really do like the sound of a T61- I’ve heard tremendously excellent things about Thinkpads, and if I’m going to spend money on something like this, I’m willing to pay a small more for it in order to get the quality and reliability that’s associated with them.

But with the Thinkpad name no longer belonging to IBM, some people say that the quality and support have gone downhill.

So I question, any opinions/advice on how they’ve performed for you or those you know?

Or, if you disapprove, do you have any personal favorites among laptops now? Looking for something max seven pounds, at least 2GB RAM, and something that will last more than anything else. Heavy internet use, multitasking, a lot of time in Photoshop, and a bit of casual gaming.

I have a t61 and I really like it. I primarily use mine for school work , and it works fantastic for that. the speed is brilliant and I have an extensive composition collection that it has no problem with. I would suggest it to you

laser vs ink jet?

what is cheaper 2 run. a b&w laser or a b&w inkjet.

what is the average amount of pages a laser does to a toner. what brand tends to be the cheapest.

Which domestic printers have best ink usage?

I’m in the market for a personal printer. I’ve had horrible experiences in the past with running out of ink too quickly and the ink being three times the cost of the printer. Are there any excellent printers out there for the money that don’t run out of ink too quickly and don’t cost a fortune to replace?
