If a pc is infected with malware,spyware and trojan viruses, is there any free software that will scan as well as remove all these viruses permanently without requiring an Internet connection to run the software after downloading.
I have seen some free softwares, but they only scan and show the viruses but has no option to remove them from the pc.

PCTools harvest do get excellent reviews. The excellent thing is they have free versions of their harvest. They work fantastic. Spyware Doctor from the Google pack is a must. I highly recommend it. I bought Webroots Spysweeper and spyware doctor finds stuff spysweeper does not. Having both is a perfect combo and I recommend running two anti-spyware harvest.

There are free anti-virus scanners availble. They work well. I like AVG and PCTools anti-viruses the best of the free anti-virus programs.
