I want to find out what are the largest dedicated server hosting companies in the US, in order of size.
An official list would be best if possible.
I am looking for a top 20 list etc.

Answer by mllock82 As far as I know, The Planet and EV1 (now The Planet) along with SoftLayer and Quick Servers.net I would say are the largest and the best in the industry.
Take a look at www.webhostingtalk.com and look in the Dedicated Hosting section. It’s a VERY active forum and I’m sure you’ll find your answer just by searching!

Got a phone call from Skycastle telling me I won a contest I entered (I did enter this contest) The Ellen DeGeneres Universal Orlando Sweeps. They followed it with an e-mail attaching letter and affidavit/release from Sullivan asking many questions including SS# for tax purposes and wanting me to also fax this affidavit along with a copy of a government issued photo ID. In the past I have won contest and have in fact filled out this affidavit/release but asking for the photo ID had me questioning if these companies were on the up and up

Answer by BarB Well, I wouldn’t send them anything. Call them and tell them to send you, by mail, the official winning notice and all of the terms necessary for you to claim the prize.
If it is legit, they will send it. I austerely wouldn’t give anyone my social security number over the phone…not would I provide any personal information.
FYI – most reputable contests force report you by phone but would involuntarily send you notification by mail.
There are so many scams out there – be cautious.

I bought a Logitech Quickcam Chat about 2 Years ago and I never really noticed that the Quality is not much better then of my first Webcam. Now I am seeing those Guys with whole clear Webcamvideos on Youtube and I am intrested in getting one like that for myself. I just have no thought for what I have to watch to get what I need.

4.Go into “Safe with networking mode” by restarting your computer and hitting F8 repeatedly at reboot, when a black/blue screen pops up choose safe with networking.
