I guarantee that ANY Apple laptop that you buy, from the most inexpensive Macbook up, will have more space for storage space than your iPod. That means that every Macbook and Macbook Pro will have the storage space space you want.

More importantly, every Macbook will easily handle the software you will need to use in your classes.

So.. buy whatever Macbook or Macbook Pro that you like. It will work for you.

I want to print on canvas. I bought an hp 7000 printer that is an inkjet printer. I want to know if I can refill my cartridges with solvent based ink? I am not looking for a wikipedia quote from a 12 year ancient. I would prefer an answer from someone in the graphic arts expertise. What types of ink can I fill them with?

Your printer uses both dye based and pigment (solvent) based ink. You can fill them with anything you like. Whether the printer will work is another matter.

Print heads are designed for what type of ink the cartridges are supposed to contain.

If say the black was pigment and all the others dye then the printhead would be designed to work with that amalgamation but if you place pigment ink in a dye based cartridge then the ink may be of the incorrect consistence to pass through the printhead without risking causing a possible blockage or hurt.

I have filled my Canon with dye based ink when I may possibly not get pigment and that worked fine but that is not to say that yours will be.

If the printer prints on canvas then it is already set up to be suitable for the job with the amalgamation of inks it uses, but you obviously have a reason for wanting to have all of them solvent based.

Its not a graphics art expert you need it’s a printer expert. I would consult with such an expert before your refill with pigment – especially if you can’t afford to lose your printer.

I want to make system recovery discs for my customers like the ones come with branded computers. I’m not talking about the one time recovery disc program comes with HP and other computers. I’m looking for a software that I can use in any computer to make recovery disc that will have simple restoration process for novice users.
I’m not trying to make one disc to use on many computers. Instead, I will make one set of disc for each computer so it can be used on to that computer and will not violate license issue.
