How may possibly i fix my hard disk it says when booting up to the hard disk master hard disk error it started happening when i am by the computer then a power blackout occur then when the power goes back it started to happen what should i do

Replace the jumper place it in “Cable Select”. Check Data Cable and Power cable in your hard drive.

Question a competent technician to reset it to neutral so that you can enter another one. Be prepared to show proof of ownership.

My computer is running so slow. I want to completely wipe all programs and information and then use the recovery discs to place back the original programs as the computer was very quick prior. Thanks for any help you can give. Oh and one other thing I am a digital dummy so delight make the instructions simple. Thanks again.

BEFORE you do that, go to Windows Explorer and right click on Computer. Select Properties. A window will open that shows you how much RAM (reminiscence) your computer has.
If you have any XP or Visa you need at least 2GB RAM. If you have Windows 7 you need at least 4 GB RAM for the operating systems to run by the book.
My guess is that you computer has less than 1GB RAM,(512MB?) that is why it is slow.
More RAM is no longer expensive and is simple to install.
Upgrade your RAM and you will find it a much quicker and more responsive machine.
