I have a Lenovo T500 Thinkpad Laptop and a Sony Bravia 32″ TV. The Thinkpad only has Displayport input and the TV only has HDMI. What product should I use to maximize my viewing experience (resolution 1680×1050). Point links and harvest is extremely useful. Thanks

I reflect you’re going about this a different or unusual way…..(I take this from the fact that you stated the resolution of the laptop…or possibly I’m incorrect)…. You want to exchange the laptop’s resolution to the TV’s which is any 1920×1080 for 1080p TV’s or 1280×720 for 720p TV’s. This way you wont have any black bars along the sides of the TV and this will maximize your viewing experience. Buy a simple show port to HDMI adapter from electronics stores like Best Buy, Radioshack, Compusa, even Walmart or Target probably has it. Or you can order one dirt cheap online. Just exchange the laptop’s resolution to the TV’s and you will be set. If you dont know how, do a quick google search on “exchange resolution [operating system]” add your operating system (windows xp, 7, outlook, etc.) where it says [operating system]

If you are confident enough to repair then do it. Buy it from ebay. If you are not sure how to replace I am worried you will brake it again.

i have a ti-84 calculator and have become pretty excellent at writing programs for that. but i have no thought how to program something for an actual computer (my Apple laptop)–is it anything like programming a calculator? i know there are different “languages” (java, C+, etc.), but are any of these similar to the one that the calculator uses?

basically, how do i learn to write rudimentary (but functional) programs for my mac?

I am now employed at a small town school district. We just recently upgraded to Windows XP on most of the school computers. We also have 4 servers with Windows Server 2003. We use active directory to manage the users. What would be the best way to give printer access to users on the network?

Usually one server can provide print services. You add the printer (via the network) to the server, and then when people authenticate they can see all the network printers and add them at will.
