How to get my Recovery partition back?

I have a Sony VAIO PCV-2220. With Windows XP Home Journal. I just made the Recovery Media Kit and used it to re-install the factory software. When I try to start the Recovery Media from my computer it gives me and error “Recovery Media cannot find the recovery partition”"Restart the computer.” I did and it gives the same. Never happen this before in anticipation of I used the Recovery Kit that my computer helped me to make. What can i do to get the partition back?

I’d try by a data recovery program like GetDataBack (download from BitTorrent) if you’re looking to recover data. It helped me get a lot of my vital files back when my PC messed up and had to reinstall/recover the OS.

Where can I get CHEAP ink for HP Officejet 5610?

I have the printer, HP Officejet 5610, and its a nice printer, but seems to go through ink pretty quick. Now, we all know, ink does not come cheap these days.

Anywhere I can buy cheap ink?
You know when you refill cartridges, will refilling them be better than buying ink?
Is the quality of Refill ink, the same as a regualr new ink cartridge?

why does laser printer use color toner to print black?

I have an HP Color Laserjet 1600. After printing a lot of stuff that’s all black, I’ve noticed that some of the color toner has been used. In fact the golden-haired is just about gone. Why?

Because people prefer their printers to print when they want, rather than sit there and question for a toner cartridge that will require you to go out immediately and take an hour at least in anticipation of you return to get your printout.

Does free antivirus software work as well as the ones you pay for?

I used to have Norton Antivirus, but my subscription expired. Is it worth it to pay to renew my subscription, or should I just download a freeware antivirus program?

What are some excellent free antivirus software? I keep hearing about Avast and AVG?

With AVG the only thing that you do not get with the free version that you get with the paid version. is tech support. Other than that, from what I have seen, it is the same.
