Problem:
When by the Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer (ExRCA) by the Office 365 Microsoft Single Sign-on (BETA) tool you may experience the following error message.
ExRCA is attempting to retrieve and analyze a security nominal for user mr.cloud@4logic.com.au.
An error occurred while attempting to retrieve and analyze the security nominal.
Test Steps
ExRCA is attempting to authenticate to the security nominal service at https://fs.4logic.com.au/adfs/services/trust/2005/usernamemixed.
An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the security nominal.

Additional Details
The Security Nominal service indicated that the certification failed. Check the user name and password and try again.
Resolution:
I have seen this problem occur in two circumstances:
a.) the username and password you have entered is inexact.
b.) the UPN suffix for the user account has not been updated yet to a public UPN suffix. Do this in AD Users and Computers. I set it to @4logic.com.au.
You may have to make a public UPN suffix under Active Directory Domains and Trusts first.

whenever it prompts you to update do not select automatic, pick the other one. it should show available updates and you should be able to choose which ones you want. only select one update and then let it install and reboot. then go to that same list of updates and see if that update you just installed is still listed. if it isn’t then that one worked so just work down the list. If you get one that keeps reappearing then it is probably not compatible so it won’t recognize when it is installed. There should be an option to tell the computer not to bother you about that point update again. So just try doing each one individually and see if that works.
