My custom desktop was personally built back in 2007. I am in march of all original invoices that have my name listed on them. I had a knee reconstruction surgery back on January 20th, 2011 and need some superfluous cash. I know I will not be able to get what I paid for all the parts originally but am looking for a honest asking price to place on craigslist or at a used computer shop Other than some dust on the computer and hardware, there are no major scratches or blemishes.

My components now installed in my computer are:

(1) Gigabyte Full ATX Aurora 3D Black Aluminum Case

(1) AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 Processor

(1) Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe Motherboard

(1) Zalman 9700 Copper CPU Cooler

(2) XFX 8800 GTX graphics cards and SLI adapter

(2) 1 gig Corsair TwinX 2048-3200 C2 Pro RAM

(2) 500 gig Wester Digital 7K 16M SATA 2 Internal Hard drive

(1) 250 gig Western Digital 7K 8M SATA 2 Internal Hard drive

(1) 500 gig Maxtor One Touch External Hard drive

(1) Ultra 3.5 Floppy Drive with 7-in-one reader

(2) HP DVD740VI / 16x8x16x DVD+RW / 6x4x16x DVD-RW / 8x DVD+R DL / 40x32x40x CD-RW / DVD±RW Burners with Lightscribe

(1) Creative X-Fi Platinum Sound Card with front I/O Panel

(1) Thermaltake Tough Power 750W ATX PSU

(1) Thermaltake Power Express 250W dedicated graphics card PSU

(1) Logitech Wireless mouse and keyboard

(1) Logitech QucikCam 8.0

Also built-in but not now installed in my computer:

(1) 250 gig Western Digital 7K 8M SATA 2 Internal Hard drive (never used)

(1) 550W X-2 Connect Modular PSU with 14 connection cables (never used, came as a free bundle item)

(1) Original FX-60 AMD processor cooler

(1) PNY Verto Reminiscence Cooling Kit

(1) SYBA PCI Multi I/O controller card

I will be completely reformatting the computer and removing all data from the 3 internal hard drives and external hard drives. I also have a excellent amount of software that I will include in the package.

The software built-in is:

All original hardware drivers

Microsoft XP Professional 32 Bit with license

Microsoft Office Professional 2003 with License

Microsoft Front Page 2003 with license

Microsoft Visio 2003 with license

Microsoft Machinate 2003 with license

(All Microsoft software was bought through Texas A&M University while I was enrolled in my undergraduate degree.)

Nero OEM Suite

Logitech Quick Cam 8.0 drivers

Delight let me know what would be a honest asking price for my computer sold as is. Thanks in advance for the help!
I meant to say in possession not march.

I would say a fantastic deal for an 3 year ancient computer but value of stuff goes down and possibly if updated OS you force get half what you paid into but with what you got be likely to get 0 as is w/XP with Win 7 force get 0, of course WIN 7 Pro kinda of costly but it would make improvement.

I broke the LCD on my notebook computer… what are my repair options?

.

It’s an HP Pavilion dv2000. I already contacted HP, and they wanted to charge me 0 for the repair. I only paid 0 for the computer originally. Is there any other way to repair this?

Nope…

You physically hurt the most expensive component of your laptop.

Your only option would be to get someone to replace it for you.

The best bet would be to hunt around on Ebay for a cheaper replacement screen. Then, once you order it you can pay a local repair shop to replace it for you for around 0.

Any that, or you may possibly just hook an external monitor to it and use it like a standard desktop computer.
