What is the best notebook laptop for database management systems and Building Information Modeling?

I need help result a laptop that works and runs the best with extensively by the MS Office programs as well as specialty programs based on DBMS (database management systems) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) – including 3D modeling and visualization, as well as Autodesk harvest. I do not need to find a computer with video editing. But alot of reminiscence would be nice. Does anyone know the perfect Mac or Dell that would be compatible with these?

How do i fix hard drive errors.?

A few days ago i used a program that i fergot the name of. But it scaned small blocks of my hard drive (so i guess they are just mb sections) and it read some errors. I want to know if there was something i may possibly do to fix them? I was getting a 5.4 in windows exprience performance rank but now im getting 5.0 for my hard drive.

Open a command window (as an administrator if in Outlook) and run

CHKDSK /F

If you want to see the options run

CHKDSK /?

What is the notebook(laptop) lemon law?

I have a gateway laptop. I will have had it two years this July. It is still under warranty. In the two yeas I have had it: a fan failed, the internal power supply failed, the hard drive crashed, and now my computer just wont start.

Mind you I have had to pay for shipping the last two times (70$ with insurance) even even if its still under warranty to send it to them to fix.

I am frustrated and tired of having a laptop that is not reliable. Everything that has happened has had nothing to do with me the user but the product itself. I questioned for them to replace it since so many things have gone incorrect. The refuse and will only offer to repair the issues which I pay to ship it to them.

So my question how would you handle this circumstances and what are the Notebook(laptop) lemon laws?

any laws that would apply would vary by state, as far as i know you may be sol, take this as a learning experience and never buy gateway again.

I confused to convert my hard disk to dynamic disk. How to recover data?

I confused to exchange my hard disk to dynamic disk, and all partitions are merged into one show “unallocated”. How can I recover my partitions and/or data on the hard disk. The hard disk is around 300 GB. Now I use “Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery” to recover, but it really slow and not reliable as it was crash when I reached 40% of scanning. Is there any software that is quick and more reliable?

Delight check your system status whether it follow the necessary system requirement of the software or not.

Standard System requirement of Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery Software is :
* Processor: Pentium Class
* Operating System: Windows 7, Outlook, XP, 2003 and 2000.
* Reminiscence: 128 MB minimum
* Hard Disk: 35 MB of free space

How do I use Microsoft Office to make a front cover of a report on a normal piece of paper that has pics too?

It needs to have some pictures and text of course I tried adding them to Microsoft Word 2008 for Mac but the pictures take up space but its blank and you cant see them. Any help for best answer? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Use File> Machinate Gallery. Click the New tab. In the left column click Newsletters. One of those force be just the ticket for your report.
