We just bought a HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-one printer. I installed it by the book on my computer with the cd it came with. I have Windows Outlook. It says the printer should be working by the book, but when I try to print something it makes the sounds like it’s printing, it sucks up the paper and slowly it comes out like there’s something being printed on it…but the paper is blank.
I saw a video on YouTube where if you take out the ink cartridges and place them back in, it is supposed to print off an alignment page but it never does. I tried running a cleaner on the cartridges and the paper was supposed to come out with something printed on it showing they were working by the book, and nothing.
I read that it may possibly mean there was a broken cable in the head. Delight tell me that’s not what is incorrect and it’s something i can fix. I have these papers I need to print out for work (which was supposed to be done now) but can’t b/c it wont print.
If no one has any excellent thoughts then I guess I’ll try reinstalling…but I really dont reflect that will exchange anything because this isn’t an installation error..there’s something incorrect with the ink process.
And just to rule out a few things that I’ve already check. The ink cartridges have the small papers pulled off them. There is ink in the printer (black and color). It won’t print any color. The paper is in by the book and aligned. And no errors have popped up.
