My small sister was paranoid about other people getting into her computer, so she constantly changed her password. Now she cant remember it ad we can only access it through a guest profile. she wants to recover it, but she never made a disk, my dad has one for his computer but will it work or is it specified to each individual computer.. considering everything on outlook needs a admin password, a restore or even a download is out of the question. any thoughts??

you can allways re-install outlook… that doesn’t require a password.. altho you’ll loose all of your data just make sure you partition your hard drive, and it will perfectly erase everything includeing the admin. password.

you can use any outlook disk on any computer, but it voids the computers worrenty, unless it’s a new copy of outlook never regestered to a computer… of corse if you have an orignal outlook upgrade disk just use that and place in her product key on the underside of her computer and it’ll be legit. … so unless you plot on throwing your computer out the window anytime soon, and know a small bit about getting rid of viruses, you should be fine
