How much does it cost to have a laptop power jack replaced?

What’s the average repair price for a power jack for a laptop? I already have the replacement jack. It’s a Dell laptop.

Probably not too much, just requires someone with a skilled hand with soldering. I had the same problem with a Dell I owned a few years ago. The guy at the computer shop tried to tell me to just trash it for a new one. I got the entire motherboard for like 60 bucks on Ebay and swapped the whole thing since the power was on the board. Probably as much as I would have paid to have a new pin soldered in that may or may not have held up.

I am having issues transferring pics wirelessly using an HP C309a printers memory card reader to an iMac?

I am by a Compact Flash reminiscence card from my camera and plugging it into the reminiscence card slot on the HP C309a printer. It says it cannot connect to the printer. I am able to print from the computer to the printer but not able to download pictures from the reminiscence card reader back to the computer. Any thought why? Possibly it has to be connected via a printer cable and if so that is okay but I was hoping this may possibly be done wirelessly. Help!

You’d probably need to run some HP software to make it work, high and mighty it can. If you haven’t already, download the massive driver package from HP’s site and install it. That should come with about fifty different small utilities. One of them should be able to do it.

Or just plug your camera into the computer with a USB cable.

Does the data recovery technique Uniformity checking and Data Carving are equally valid for both HDD and SDD or they are austerely for HDD only. These two process is effectual in which media?

They are both independent of the storage space media since these techniques are not about attempting to read data that was formerly unreadable, but making do with the data you have already read and trying to interpret it. The physical medium is an irrelevance.

Is their an HP 5P Laser Jet printer driver available for Windows 7?

I have a new Dell PC w/ windows 7 and the PC doesn’t recognize the ancient HP 5P printer.

I have the adapter (parallel port to USB) cable plugged in. HP does not have the driver available for download from their site. I know their is a ms windows update driver for the HP 5P Laser Jet printer driver available for Windows 7 because I just did this a month ago, but I had to send the ancient new PC back and having to find it again. Anyone, delight, help. Thanks

It’s on the Windows 7 disc. It should just install if you tell Windows to find the driver itself.

How do I fix the registry or whatever, so my video / audio software will work again microsoft has issues?

I had this computer built by a local business, to make videos of our equipment running for potential customers. It worked fine for a couple of months, til Fox News wanted to update to a newer version of Direct-X. Thats when it all went down the drain.
I can watch videos on any website but I have no sound. When Microsoft run a status check they said my keycode was invalid and now I can’t make a video or even listen to a video.
Someone told me it was a registry issue that microsoft has given me to make my life miserable.
I paid this guy to build me a computer on three other occasions and have had no problems with them til now.
When I contacted him he said he thought he licensed my unit, but he has departed and had his number changed so I can’t find him.
I thought it was a terrible audio card, so I bought a new one (Sound Blaster Audigy) it didn’t help.
When I try to use any of my Sound software I get an error saying the device is in use by another program or it cannot be found.

You should try by a program called Registry Mechanic to fix it….if you need a copy I can email one to you. As its only 3.88mb in size. I had a the same issue the other night and it sorted it all out in about 5min.
