My Lenovo Thinkpad display goes blank?

Hi, Each time i turn my LEnovo Thinkpad Laptop on and Windows Outlook Home P starts up and then the screen goes blank for a couple of seconds and then the window about starting the Client Security Solutions question me to start up Why?

It is the security software that you can setup for password and encryption on your files. Your screen will go blank while changing the resolution, as does any computer. You can uninstall the Client Security Solutions software if you desire, but leave it in if your thinkpad has a fingerprint reader. Cheers

I had a virus called Desktop Defender 2010 on my computer.?

I used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to get rid of it. But my question(s) is this:

I have Norton Internet Security 2010 and regularly run full system scans (I’m paranoid now) to check for any suspicious activity. Will it be able to tell if any residual Desktop Defender applications are still in my computer and fix them? And can Desktop Defender permanently harm something in my PC? I resolved the issue pretty quickly (a couple hours after the fact) and luckily, I didn’t seem to have it as hardcore as some people have. But I still don’t want any lingering traces of the virus anywhere in my computer.

Any computer-savoir-faire people with Desktop Defender 2010 experience? Thanks!

When did you get the virus? If it’s recent then do a system restore.

What do you reflect? Answer not more than!

How to scan with avira antivirus personal? Successfully downloaded it but it wouldn’t scan?

Every time i click on the avira antivirus personal icon to run a scan a window would pop up and give me 3 options to choose
: modify, update/repair or remove all the installed components but not mention anything about scanning. My computer got infected and even even if i already tried super anti spyware and malwarebytes i stil agonize and want to scan my computer again with avira antivirus personal. How to get it to scan? what do i need to do?

Spybot found Microsoft adware?

My routine run of Spybot – Search and End (1.4) has listed a Microsoft entry with the found problems. (Not more than is the text I grabbed from it.)
I run Norton Internet Security 06 and it has never spotted this problem (if it is a problem. )

Does anyone know what this is? Should I have Spybot fix it? Is MS oputting adware on my machine?
What’s the scoop?

I’m unclear on one response:
By “allow it” should I allow Spybot to fix it or delete it from the selection and allow it to stay?

Odd it would find that since it is the built in firewall for the system.
