Where can i Find a System Recovery Disk for an HP a612x?

Getting ” Primary Master hard Disk S.M.A.R.T Status Terrible” when trying to Boot and it wont go past this screen, this is my in laws PC and they have had virus problems etc in the past. I reflect it needs a new HD but wanted to try a system recovery first. Anyone know any excellent sites where i can burn the System Recovery Disks?

HP does not make the recovery disks available online. You must hold them at an outrageous amount of .

Go to their support section and locate the model of your PC. There you will find a link to order parts for this machine.

Can a Hard disk break down from unplugging the pc incorrect?
I just really want to now can a 500 GB hard disk break down from unplugging the back of the pc { pc plug that connects the CPU to a electrical outlet} end, corrupt, or by any means cause a negative effect or out come on a hard disk, thus forcing you to back up your files and repair/ replace the hard drive. i am saying this b/c i disconnected the switch to my modem witch plugs into a power out let out of rage, and my mom said since i did that, that that is why we keep on getting a certain error message saying that the are hdd is in danger of failing and we must back up are data and call are pc manufacturer to to get a repair or a replacement, plz help me.

Iqon Laptop repair???? Any Suggestions please?

I have an Iqon laptop Windows XP 2002 service pack 2. Intel (R) Celeron (R) M Processor 1.40 GHz 256MB RAM and 40 GB hard drive.

I want to upgrade the RAM and hard drive. My brother has an ancient notebook with 80GB hard drive and 1GB RAM. Its a gateway notebook. It was a reconditioned laptop. Is it alright to transfer the RAM and hard drive.

He has problems with it as it kept switching itself off and if you go it from A to B the atmosphere caused by the schedule make it dont work. I want to do this my self but can someone guide me through a step by step process to do the transfer delight and also,

Is there a radiation risk with notch laptops?

No radiation risk hehe. if you dont know what you doing get someone to do it for you (about 20-40$) laptop is built with more precise technology than pc and extreme caution and excellent knowledge is required when changing something. but if the rubbish laptops u can experiment.

Why do I need client software for Server 2003?

I heard that with windows server 2003 I need to get client packs why is that?

Client packs, called “client licenses” are what sets the whole number of simultanious users you can have connect to your server AT ONE TIME. In other words, if you have a 5-user license, 5 other machines can ‘connect’ to your server. The 6th system to try to connect will be blocked/”timeout” in anticipation of a spot frees. Do note but, any number of systems COULD connect, as long as no more than 5 are trying to access something at any one time. You circumstances/real world setting will determine how many you need in actuality. This limitation of course does not count a user logged into the server itself, just systems that are connecting to it.
