Acers are ok but they do not rank high on the list. Consider looking at a brand like dell, hp/compaq or toshiba. You will be able to find a excellent one that matches your price range and features and comes with brilliant service.

When the Notebook gets very hot on bottom , we open the Notebook and take the fan out and clean and check the internal roller of fan to see if the rubber is wore out or not , Also we clean the channel . call me 3104783055

depending on how ancient the laptop is, it may just have poor cooling capabilities. IMO i would just go to best buy and pick up a cooling mat for 20 bucks and you would probably be fine with that
