Read below, remove all that you wish from the startup list, and post back if your computer is moving faster or the same slow speed.
===============================
Here are all the definitions of the startup processes that you have going on your machine at the moment. You can read through this list and determine which are necessary, and which are not. Keep in mind, if a program needs to be run at regular intervals (like a spy sweeper or such), you’ll want to keep those on the startup list. If something needs to be running to update itself, it’ll also update itself when you manually start the program, so doesn’t need to be in the startup list (such as jusched, which says startup is recommended. Trust me though, 15 years on computers and I’ve never needed it in startup since it’s been a part of most systems.).
ehtray – ehtray.exe is a process is the tray bar process for the Microsoft Media Center. It gives you easy access to the digital media manager. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.
rundll32 – doesn’t need to be autostartup
hkcmd”hkcmd.exe” is Intel’s “extreme” grahics hot key interceptor. If you never use the Intel hotkeys, you can go to Control Panel > Intel Extreme Graphics > Hot Keys and turn them off.
igfxpers – igfxpers.exe is a process installed alongside NVidia graphics cards and provides additional configuration options for these devices. “This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.”
Iaanotif – is a process belonging to the Application Accelerator from Intel. It changes the Windows ATA drivers for maximum performance. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.
DMAScheduler – is a process which belongs to the DigitalMedia Plus Archiver. This program is non-essential process to the running of the program, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.
RECGUARD – is a process from HP that prevents a user from deleting or corrupting the WinXP Recovery Partition on Hewlett Packard computers.
HPBootOP – is a process belonging to HP Boot Optimizer. “This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.”
Remind_XP – is a process belonging to the SoftThinks CD Creator CD/DVD Writer and serves as a reminder to register for full product support. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.
HPWuSchd2 – is a process belonging to the Hewlett Packard Software Update Scheduler which displays update information regarding HP’s range of products. “This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.”
Spybot SD (Which I deleted)
AAW Tray – is a AAWTray Application belonging to AAWTray Application (wht_knght says this is for AdAware. Keeping it running in startup is personal preference.)
RTHDCPL – is a process belonging to the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel and is bundled alongside Realtek sound cards and audio hardware. “This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.”
ALCMTR – is a process installed alongside Realtek AC97 audio hardware and provides a monitoring service. “This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.”
jusched – is a process installed alongside Sun Microsystem’s Java suite and checks for Java updates which involves usage of the Internet. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer’s Internet browsing and Java usage and should not be terminated. (wht_knght terminates it, doesn’t trust programs to update security, updates that stuff manually and regularly.)
avgnt – is a process belonging to Avira Internet Security Suite which protects your computer against Internet-bound threats such as spyware and trojans which can be distributed through e-mail or attack directly to the computer allowing unauthorized access to your computer. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.
hpqSRMon – wht_knght says this process is under investigation on most sites I’ve checked. Appears to be Photosmart related. Disable advised.
msmsgs (MSN Messengers? Never used it) – You can uninstall this through the control panel > Add/Remove Programs > Windows Components (left side of the screen).
TeaTimer (I’m sure it came with SpyBot) wht_knght says this monitors processes for SS&D. Disable if SS&D has been uninstalled.
Adobe Reader Spe… – wht_knght says it’s not necessary, can be disabled without worry.
HP Digital Imaging… – wht_knght says it’s not necessary, can be disabled without worry.
Updates from HP – is a process associated with RunnerEXE Application from Hewlett-Packard.
ymetray – is a process which belongs to the Yahoo! Music utility. “This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.”

This isn’t a problem of too many programs on the computer, it’s a problem of too many programs in the startup and system tray.
1. Click Start > Run.
2. Type “msconfig” (without quotation marks around it) and hit enter.
3. In the new window that pops up, click on the Startup tab.
4. List everything that you see there as additional details to your question if you would like further help.
I’ll bookmark this question and come back to help ya more after you list those startup items.
these will be safe to remove

I reflect an simple to keep your Computer from Running Slow is to install a PC protector or cleaning, according to my personal experience, Tuneup360 is excellent choice, and your computer takes only 30 sec to start up if you have it!!!
