On my Yahoo! email account, i’ve got emails I want to reference that are ‘ancient’. Some are read, some are unread. With unlimited storage space now, I would be hoping to archive some of these for eternity in subfolders and clear out my inbox. But there is zero make pleased listed now on emails older than 3 weeks (or there abouts). What gives? I see no option to ‘recall’ the email from offline storage space. Nor if I forward the email to another account, or go it to a subfolder does the make pleased return.
I’m having this issue with all mail older than 11-Nov-2007. I really need the make pleased out of some of these emails!!
Anyone got some thoughts?
Going back to Yahoo! Classic gives me back the emails in my Inbox, but mail in my folders gives me:
You’ve stumbled upon a temporary problem we’re having with Yahoo! Mail. Usually this problem gets resolved quickly, without you doing a thing. In fact it may be taken care of now.
* Try pressing the Reload or Refresh button on your browser, or logging out and then back into your Yahoo! account. Hopefully that will take care of things.
If that doesn’t fix the problem, delight be patient while we sort it out and try again shortly. The fact that you’re reading this page means we’ve been involuntarily told of the issue, and chances are we’re working on it now.
* If you reflect you’ve been more than patient and tried the tricks above, feel free to contact Consumer Care about Error Code 6.

Do or read some of these things to help clear your error.
1.When you try to access an email message that has been went or deleted. For example,
if you delete an email from your inbox and hit the back button on your browser, the email
will still show up in your inbox. Even even if it looks like the email is there, it really isnt!
2. If you clicked on a legitimate email message that wasn’t deleted or went and you get
an Error Code every time, click Check Mail and then try to access the same email again.
3. You have several windows or tabs open in the same Yahoo! Mail account. The Error
Code is a temporary problem which should go away once you close the additional tabs
or windows.
4. You’re running the browser-based Yahoo! Mail service, and another mail service (such
as Outlook or your mobile phone email service) tried to access your Yahoo! Mail server.
Try end down your other email services to see if this removes the Error Code.
5. If that didn`t help try Yahoo Consumer Service to fix the error.
