Politics , as a general rule, does not solve problems. In every other field , from business to science, there is only 1 right solution to a given problem and it is always supported by data. Politics is the only field (really religion sort of falls into this category as well), where every single initiative is argued over.Mathematicians don’t argue over formulas. Engineers don’t argue about building procedures. Scientists don’t argue over methods. Polticians argue over EVERYTHING
