Mу laptop іѕ a Dell Inspiron 15 wіth Windows 7 Home Premium аnԁ thе A key wasn’t bashed hard οr pulled οff οr anything. I’m bу a USB keyboard fοr now, bυt I want mу laptop keyboard back. Edit: Bу thе way thе key never came οff mу laptop іt јυѕt randomly ѕtοрреԁ working.

ok, (laptops only) be sure you have the two small things that came out when the key came out, try to fit them in the right spots on the key, then you place the key on its spot and then push it down really hard in anticipation of it clicks. then there you go!
BTW if you dont have the two small things then your SOL
Usually, you can pop it back in but if you can’t than I would go to Best Buy and question their Geek Squad for help

If your key is working by the book then you can use this video tutorial to fix it back in place, but if the key itself is broken then you can also buy a replacement key. Its really not a huge deal. You can buy new replacement laptop keys at http://www.laptopkey.com , for $4.99. Check it out. Helped me fix my “R” key last month
