Yου mау possibly try carriage іt tο lacie ( i οwn a lacie 500gb external myself аnԁ wουƖԁ personally nοt ship іt tο thеm). Try tο take іt tο a local computer store such аѕ best bυу οr circuit city. Thеу wіƖƖ try аnԁ recover thе data.
Give уουr аnѕwеr tο thіѕ qυеѕtіοn nοt more thаn!

Yes, but it isn’t cheap. You would have to take it to a local DataDoctor recovery service.
You can try doing it yourself, if you don’t mind taking the risk that you may possibly end the drive and data. It would require you cracking open the drive to relieve any pressure on the inner platters and then quickly plugging in the drive and collecting your data before the drive dies, permanently.
Open up the enclosure and remove the drive. Then check inside your computer to see if it has the same relations. If it does you should be able to connect it and read the info from it high and mighty the drive is OK and its just the enclosure that failed. (Connect drive to PC with the AC power cord unplugged!)
If the drive itself failed, you’re pretty much out of luck. (professional (not BBuy or CCity) data recovery solutions that can recover data from failed drives cost $500+ a lot of times) There are a lot of self-help remedies out there like sticking it in the freezer, but I’ve never had much luck with any of those. Sometimes just leaving it unplugged from anything for a couple days will allow you a small window of time to read the data off of a failed/failing drive.
you may possibly try taking the drive out of the case and place it in your tower the case force be broken i f not to get it all back force most company charge 5.00 a megabyte
