My laptop with windows xp will not play any sounds. I have tried to troubleshoot with no luck. All of my devices (according to my computer) are in working order, and I don’t reflect there are any updates I need to install. I bought the computer second-hand, so I don’t have any of the original installation cds.

Any help you can provide would be fantastic!

is there a sticker on it that says intel inside,if so you have an intel chipset go to intel’s website you can download a program that will read your computer and give you the right drivers for your chipset ,then you’ll have sound or go to the website of the computer manufacturer…………tom
