Any comments on this hp laptop I am going to buy on-sale now at my local compusa store? It’s hp Pavilion dv6375us TV notebook with:

Superfluous battery…..can I buy an superfluous battery for this (since battery life is probably small) and where should I buy the battery ?

That looks like a excellent laptop. I reflect that you can get an superfluous battery from HP.
HP has a new generation out called the HP 6500. There is not much of a difference in price and it does offer you the option of a dedicated video card. So you force check it out.
Other than that your system is OK.
