I bought the logitech quickcam chat in place of my older logitech webcam. My ancient webcam worked fine, except the picture quality became very grainy so i chose to replace it. I installed everything by the book for the new webcam, but for some reason the microphone is not being detected. the microphone for this webcam is on the headset that it came with, but when i try to exchange the microphone setting from my ancient speakers to the quickcam, it doesn’t give me the option. also, im not sure why the setting is on my speakers for the microphone, but it wont give me any other choice for exchange. also i dont even have speakers any more for my computer but i use headphones.(which do work.)
im stumped on what to do.
lol sorry this is so lengthy, but long tale small- how do i fix my microphone so it will record sound?
thanks for all help in advance [:
