Considering you will have to install a software for 6 units,…the safest and best way is to manually install it. But if you choose to, you can let Active Directory or SMS do the installation but you must have the .msi installer.
To by the book setup and package software for distribution via Active Directory or SMS would probably take at least an hour – more like a few hours – for EACH title. It makes sense to do an AD software install if you have 15-20+ clients… but for 6, you’re probably better off with going to each machine and manually doing it.
If you have 6 identical machines and you want the software on each to be identical, you may possibly setup ONE system COMPLETELY, then make an image by Acronis (www.acronis.com) or similar product and then place that image onto each system – just remember to use Sysprep right before you make the image so you don’t end up with SID conflicts.
