Exceptional Quality, Remarkable Durability – 2945B001
I have always used Canon printers and loved them, but this may be the last time. I held up this type of cartridge and one for my ancient i860, side by side and realized that the new ink to retain about 25% less (but not cheaper). Do not tell me that this is not intentional on the part of Canon. Although the ink works very well and the print quality is fantastic, the cartridges run out dreadfully quick. I printed some fifty 5 “x 7″ images by all the colors, blue and a new cartridge has already triggered the “ink low” warning symbol. Secondly, it is such a pain to try to know what cartridges are compatible. The cartridges for my MP620 news was so similar to my ancient i860, and I spent an hour on the site frustrating Canon and the web without result whether it is wise to exchange them. I noticed another reviewer mentioned that there had announced the compatibility incomplete packages of cartridges as well. The cartridges for older models Search virtually the same and yet seemingly incompatible, I consider this a design flaw because the fact that Canon did not normalize their cartridges from printer models means that twice now, when printers are dead, I was stuck with expensive cartridges incompatible. If anyone reads this Canon, PLEASE get your act together – there is no excuse for the ink it complicated and you should not be shortchanging loyal customers by reducing the longevity of the inks already expensive. The next time I get a printer, I’ll be out investigate which manufacturer provides the best durability ink cartridges. Rating: 1 / 5
I bought a Canon PIXMA MX330 from Amazon and later bought the ink PGI-220 on Amazon. Amazon “buy” feature and also another note “compatibility” not more than each listing ink that indicates whether the right ink. I finished up buying the incorrect ink because of it. Need Ink PG-MX330 for 210xl not it. Cartridge Canon PG-210xl (Black) The page of the IMP-220 tells me its still compatible with the printer, I bought on Amazon. Fantastic features if they work, too terrible they are not! Its past the return date and out of the box item. Rating: 1 / 5
I do very few B / W printing and nearly no color. I am shocked by the speed with which the ink used. I’m sure it must be self-cleaning because it certainly is not one or ID that I print / week. This printer is a complete rip off when you need to keep buying the ink so it can be cleaned. I had other ink jets that do not like that. Rating: 1 / 5
As usual, you pay more than you get with the ink cartridges from Canon. They perform well, but not better than the generic ink cartridges, despite warnings that Canon and their ilk weep. Unfortunately, there are no generic cartridges for my printer (yet). As they become available I’ll buy them. Rating: 3 / 5
So far, I like this printer. The photos I print look absolutely still as excellent as going to Wal-Mart. I like the fact that I did not waste ink. Each color has its own separate ink cartridges. As I look at the reduced level of ink in a very different pace, I see how I squandered it all in one color cartridge on my ancient printer. On this printer austerely replace one color at a time. This printer is very simple to use. I had no distress learning to use it. I like the fact that the paper is hidden under the door opens involuntarily when you print. It also has a paper backing on the back of the printer that you raise and position to keep the photo paper you do not remove the plain paper. I like it. I also like the fact that he has a card reader built in and I can print photos directly from the camera card. You do not need to go through the computer. I’m so glad I read the comments and check comsumer reports. This printer has the best note.Il is ahead in the money. Rating: 5 / 5
