My printer- the HP Officejet 7310 All-In-One- refuses to go through with scanning. It accepts the reminiscence card I place into it and even says ‘commencement scan’ & ‘warming up’, but there is no activity past that. I’ve tried restarting it and whatnot, but it hasn’t worked.
Also, I’ve had this printer for a few years now and it has never given me this problem before. What may possibly the issue be?

HP has a tool that diagnoses scanning problems. Be sure you get your updates for the scanner here.
Select your operating system.
