Well, I know that the average yearly wage for a fixed (Not Senior) Software Engineer is $66,000. So the tops would be around $100,000.
Senior Engineers make about 30% more.
A General Practice will bring you about $150-200,000.
OB/GYN can pull close to $500,000.
I know of an Anestesiologist in California that makes $630,000. And he is one of the highest paid.
A Neurosurgeon friend of mine in NY makes $936,000 a year.
Now the only averages for Climatologists I can find is in the Government, and that is around $85,000. So the tops would be around $100,000.
