Which sort of memory-storage device available on the marketplace (Retail or Internet) should I use to store (make backups) of my 500GB hard drive?

Best answer:

Answer by avomatic
The easyest method would be to purchase a 500gb usb drive, they usually include backup utilities that will backup your system in the background. you can also consider online backup like carbonite.

Answer by Fola
Probably they installed an older problematic drive,go back there and tell them the problem. You can download a drive diagnostic utility and check how many hours/days the drive is running so you can tell if the drive is new or old.

My computer has been crashing and getting blue screen of death for a while now and it’s getting worse. Now, whenever I open my browser and have a few tabs open, it crashes my computer. Will formatting my hard drive stop the crashing? I heard that having your computer for a while will cause more registry errors, which causes more crashes…. Also, my computer has been beeping upon start-up too.

Best answer:

Answer by jonsey8008
It depends which Blue Screen you are getting .. there should be an error code along with the blue screen of death …

Most of the times, they are ram, video cards, or Hard Drive .. So wait for a blue screen .. write down the error code and google the hell out of it

Narrow down the problem a little before such a big fix

you may just have to spend or so and get one new stick of ram that went bad
