I think the computer isn’t connecting to the computer due to a recent removal of a Virus with BitDefender Total Security. I think the Software may have deleted something or corrupted something. Not entirely sure. I think this, because the lack of internet connectivity appeared once BitDefender rebooted my computer for a certain Trojan.

Also I cannot System Restore to an earlier time. (I don’t know why.) My Computer cannot open Registry Booster for some reason as well. Nor can BitDefender operate it services… If not obvious i can’t surf the web on the computer. (I’m on my laptop).

Basically all my problems are due to no internet, which became apparent after BitDefender Rebooted to remove a Trojan.

I’ll be monitoring this question for the next 5 days. I say this because some people don’t like answering questions, because they think I won’t pick a best answer… which is not true. Please help, Thank you in advance.

I think it’s best you start with the basics.

Check and reseat your ethernet cord(s), as well as restart your router and modem.

If this doesn’t work, you could try and uninstall BitDefender. If you then can obtain an IP address, you know the problem is with BitDefender. From there, you have the option of reinstalling it or another software application that meets your needs.

filehippo.com is where I generaly search for free ware. You can download a ton of different programs to do the job.

and 1 more thing type name of virus u found in google and search for its removal tool eg:w32.sality removal tool
here w32.sality is virus name

Try googling and see if there are any password reset utilities. MOST will cost you a bit of money to buy their software. However, I do not know if there is any freebie software out there. Like I said, you will have to google it to find out.

Malwarebytes’ Anti-malware is free, it scans for and removes malware. It has worked great for me

Turn off your restore program, run mbam again, then restart computer, turn the restore program back on.

Also since the month, whenever I try to update SUPERantispyware, it would show in a bubble that a update is available and would direct me to its site where a full version can be aquired (NOTE : IT WANTS ME TO BUY IT). since the bubble start appearing, it haven’t detect anything since and with my computer acting the way it is, I think it has become useless now unless I buy the full version. —Windows defender was always useless when it comes to malware and actual virus.—

I do not want to buy the top software like Mafee or Norton because there has been a rise of trojans that has been designed to target and neutralize them making it becoming a waste of money and a hard drive…like last time.

microsoft security essentials, ive had for past 12mths, detects , and warns of potential hazzard sites has real time protection and is free, siteadvisor is a need as well it will tell u good/bad sites…download these links….very small d/loads
MSE might take 5minutes to d/loadfirst time to update fully, but after that leave and forget it will auto update…MSE has virus and malware scanner and will turn off windows defender( win. defender is microsoft) so dont be worried if it says win.defender has shut down
EDIT: i found that SAS(super anti) only detected cookies even when i knew that i had virus/m/ware( that was b4 i d/load mse
