It has the advantage of an adblocker (blocks page ads so I never see them) and some parental controls with password protection.

I have heard that McCaffee is good too and AVG is free. For firewall, many people use ZoneAlarm. What are people’s favs? Efficient and easy are more important than free, but they can’t be 0 either. Thanks!

If it’s just data that you need to back up, zip them in 100MB sizes and upload them to SkyDrive. It has a free 25GB online storage. It is owned by Microsoft and is secure.

Gaming laptop or PC for 0-ish??????????
Dream on. For that kind of money you get a low end laptop or desktop with integrated graphics and a low to maybe mid end processor.
Say 0-ish and you can get somewhere, further with a desktop, as laptops cost more and offer less.
Desktop is best for gaming anyways, better specs, bigger graphics cards, etc.

Depends on what you are wanting to spend, if you get a PC that is good for gaming, it is most likely going to be perfect for just about anything, including school work. I have a ‘Toshiba Satellite’ that works awesome for games and my school work, it cost me a little over ,000 but that’s because I had extra things done to it that I didn’t want to do myself. The laptop as it is will only be around 0 or so. But just ask the sales person at whatever location you buy it, or if you buy it offline check out reviews, go find one you like online and then re-post a link or the specs of it on your question and people would be happy to answer you.
