call your local internet provider and question them to take it off.
This is really a virus. An Anti-Virus company basically holds your computer hostage in anticipation of you buy the full version of their software. To remove it download real antivirus software such as Norton or McAfee harvest. Those cost money but if you want free try download AVG or aVAST antivirus harvest. Just google them. Then use them to scan your computer. The free versions may or may not be able to remove it but the paid antivirus software should be able to remove it.
HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS ROGUE SECURITY PROGRAM?
Programs such as Personal Antivirus, Anivirus System Pro, XP Deluxe Protector, WinBlueSoft, Antivirus Pro 2009, AntivirusBEST, and many more are really rogue (fake and malware) security programs and if you run them will even infect your computer even more. Read here to learn more about them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_software . This is also a excellent article to read: http://www.techsupportalert.com/make pleased/spyware-removal-guide.htm .
First back up your vital files and ID in case anything goes incorrect during the removal process. For the same reason make a system restore top. Yes this restore top force be infected but it is better to have that go back to then not being able to undo things if the cleanup affects your computer. You can always scan again. Once the computer is clean and working by the book, we will get rid of the potentially terrible restore points.
The pop-ups you get from this type of program are a sign your computer is already infected. There are literally hundreds of these rogue programs out that are plaguing so many people. The free program, not necessary to hold the pro version, Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (MBAM), is very excellent at detecting and removing rogue security programs. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
Now some of these rogue programs are very tough and will make it so you cannot run your security programs or will not let you download and install them. Here is a link that will clarify how to get around this with MBAM and be successful downloading, installing, and running the program: http://www.myantispyware.com/2009/06/08/malwarebytes-wont-install-run-or-update-how-to-fix-it/
Once you are successful at downloading, installing, and updating MBAM you can then follow these directions: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-personal-antivirus . Delight note these instructions are for PersonalAntivirus, one of the rogue programs, but the instructions are very similar for getting rid of any rogue program.
Also it would be a excellent thought after running the quick scan, and rebooting to run a full system scan. I have also seen it suggested to run MBAM in safe mode. You can also try this other free program called SUPERAntiSpyware that can be found here: http://www.superantispyware.com/ .
Once your computer is clean and working normally just to be on the safe side turn off system restore and wait 30 seconds, turn it back on and make a new restore top. This way it gets rid of anything terrible that force have gotten saved in a restore top and you have a clean restore top to use in the near prospect if needed.
Here is an brilliant article to learn how to be safe on the internet, http://surfthenetsafely.com/index.html . It covers everything from viruses, spyware, and firewalls in fantastic detail. The links in it that do not work right are pointing to this website http://www.techsupportalert.com/pc/security-tools.html . This website was updated so ancient links do not always work.
I would really like to hear how these steps worked for you or how else you were able to get rid of the rogue security program. You can email me via my Yahoo Answers Profile or email me at my_mailbox08@yahoo.com. Thanks.
here’s manual removal guide of personal antivirus: http://www.spywarevoid.com/personal-antivirus-removal-guide-remove-personalantivirus.html
you can print it on another computer if you can’t access it from the infected pc.
Yea I know how you feel. I had Personal Antivirus on my own system. It’s really annoying. Pop ups bombarding you, desktop spyware, browser hijackers, etc. I tried by SpyBot and Ad-Aware but they just couldn’t get rid of it. The virus hangs out in the registry which is an area those two programs don’t scan. But I found a program that does scan the registry and provides real time protection against other threats. Try it out for yourself at:

SAFEST & EASIEST way with NO DOWNLOADING:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
System Restore will do exactly what the name says: it will restore your computer to the way it was on a date that you can select. You will NOT LOSE any saved ID but any programs that have been downlaoded will be deleted.
I know how frustrating it is, trying to get rid of it and this is the EASIEST and QUICKEST and SAFEST method that really works!!!
I got rid of Personal Antivirus completely doing this!
