do a search on “free+spyware+adware” and you will find many to look at and see what is right for you…..I had my ISP tell me to use more then one to remove a virus I had gotten. so I use the one that my cable company provides , I use the one on yahoo toolbar and i use spybot…..only have one in succession all the time and then from time to time use the other ones to make sure everything is virus free.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you must use a more reliable browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run quicker than IE.
