can someone delight walk me through trying to fix this?
i have my yahoo messenger on

i have windows xp pro on ibm laptop
i have tried spyware/adware on download.com and
microsoft windows live onecare and registry scanner and
everytime i restart the computer it is back to what is was before and the programs dont even show up on desktop or program files?
there are also 2 windows automatic updates that i have been trying to install and the outlook express one keeps saying failed. i reflect that is when the problem started.
if i delete movies and pictures and i restart the computer they are right back in my ID.
also the same if i try to add/remove programs and remove itunes or quicktime i restart the computer and they are back.
sometimes computer freezes up and misexec.exe error comes up too
my friend told me to look for an exclamation top in device administrator….how do i get that up on my screen? thank you so much.
also the windows…has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience box that says “debug” or”close” and click here for more info about this error keeps popping up if i try to run a adware/spware scan
i looked on device administrator and there were no exclamation marks on anything. i noticed there are 2-3 golden-haired windows updates in bottom right corner of screen lately.

Well I Can tell you how to get to device manager =)
Click on Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Administrator
Some malware camouflage themselves as msiexec.exe, particularly if they are located in c:windows or c:windowssystem32 folder. Thus check the msiexec.exe process on your pc whether it is pest.I recommend Security Task Administrator for verifying your computer’s security.

Click start >click run >type in msconfig click on the startup tab then uncheck everything there except your anti virus and internet connection . Click ok and your computer will restart .
Do an online virus scan to check and remove virus and spyware if you still have viruses on your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .
