I completely removed frostwire off of my PC.
Do I have to remove the songs i downloaded as well or do i just use an adware remover?

no the songs are fines as long they are in a mp3 format. The other adware Safely remove with the following free tools:

Go the songs to another folder that is not related to Frostwire.
Uninstall Frostwire by RevoUninstaller:

It’s quicker and better than add / remove applet.
When you run it highlight the item then select uninstall in next window select Advanced and click Next, follow prompts when uninstalled it will scan registry and drive for leftover files / folders,click + sign to expand all consequences and tick ONLY the bold items and follow prompts.

Well although the songs you downloaded probably came with a virus, you don’t have to remove the songs themselves. Get a virus scanner, AVG is free and works well. Lavasoft is excellent too, but right now I’m by Norton 360 and it’s working fantastic for me. You can only have one antivirus program on your computer at a time, so once you use one and if it doesn’t catch anything, get a new one. The virus I had in my computer was really terrible, so I had to reformat my computer. I did this by ordering a system restore disc from the computer company (mine is HP) and I used the discs to completely erase my computer’s ID and settings.
So depending on the severity of your virus, you may have to download several antivirus programs, or even reformat your computer.
