I like Yahoo, I can surf all their sights easily even with an ancient piece of crap computer. Will Microsoft ruin it by making it some bloasted flashware extraveganza loaded with spyware and adware as well?

Microsoft prefers Silverlight, not Flash.

The answer to that is nobody really knows yet. My guess is probably not even Microsoft has a clue what they really want to do with Yahoo yet. Right now it just looks like they want a quick fix to the Google problem, and so does Yahoo so they’re both mulling over a fusion so they can combine their potential resources to be more competitive and adapt to whatever Google does next. For me, I just hope Yahoo Mail doesn’t turn into HotMail or inherit any of the features from it. I reasonably like it the way it is but hey, it’s free so if it turns to mush, I can’t complain too much.
