These are the three main free AV programs. AVG is the most standard but you need to check what you do and don’t get, not just hear loads of people saying, “Get AVG”. In anticipation of recently it didn’t detect anything but viruses and even now it lacks a few essentials. AntiVir has better detection rates but doesn’t detect spyware. Avast offers excellent all-round protection.
