sometimes, like every 20 minutes, my computer starts talking… it sounds like someone turned on the tv and a commercial is playing… then it just stops… and nothing is killing it, not spybot, not adaware, not avast or norton

Some websites have ads that “talks”. Annoying like hell.
Do you have AIM running? I know sometimes the ads on there randomly start talking.

Sounds like a pop up…. looks like you force just need to run a scan with an antivirus and hope it catches it.
Have you tried anti psychotic medication?
Are you constantly connected to the Internet? Someone may have access to your computer. If you are offline when this happens, is it just sound playing or is their a program running. To check this open up your Task Administrator and watch it around the time that the sound should start, you may be able to spot the program in there.
well, if it happens while your online, or, more specifically if you have a browser open (like internet explorer or Firefox) then its most likely just an add that’s notch without you knowing. do you remember aproximately when these sounds started happening? well do a system restore. forst go to “start” then “accessories” then system tools and finally system restore and click on the date you reflect is closest to before the sounds started playing. that will insure that the problem will stop.
