Okay. I’ve looked around at nearly EVERY solution for removing this virus, NONE of which have helped me. I’m high and mighty I probably have the most recent, updated version of it. While it doesn’t seem to really be *doing* anything, the constant popups are pretty annoying.
Here’s the circumstances:
-Uninstalling WiniFighter.exe doesn’t really get rid of it.
-System Restore is blocked.
-Safe Mode is blocked unless accessed through msconfig and turned on.
-All Antivirus programs are blocked from updating.
-Spyware Doctor does not detect it.
-Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware installs, but is blocked from running.
-SUPERAntiSpyware crashes upon installation attempts, except for the Pro demo, which crashes upon startup.
-A manual attempt (deletion of temp files and sweep through registry) didn’t help.
-SmitfraudFix ran fine and deleted several trojans, but failed to remove WiniFighter.
-avast! also ran fine and deleted *many* trojans, but still failed to remove WiniFighter
Any help would be much obliged. Feel free to question for more details! I’m desperate here!

Try combofix, if that does not fix it then you have to go and use a bootable disc to remove it by malwarebytes or superantispyware.

open Task administrator and terminate the following processes:
WiniFighter.exe
[Random number].exe such as 958z6spy787.exe
setup2.exe
uninstall.exe
