Go check out http://www.bluepointsecurity.com, that will clean it up.
yes malwarebytes is by far the best for that circumstances…
1-Go to My Computer or Computer
2-Go in “Program Files” Folder
3-Look for the folder that the program would be in and delete it
(e.g. Let’s say you wanted to remove iTunes, you would delete the iTunes folder) If you don’t see the one it could be, then follow these steps other wise you’re done
1-Start Menu
2-Search or Search>Files and Folders
3-Click “All files and folders”
4-Click the “Look In:” drop down menu and select “Local Hard Drives”
5-In the box that says “All or part of file name” type in the name of the program that it is and then let it search.
6-If you find it then look for the 1 with the “in folder:” name that says
C:Program Files…
personal antivirus is not listed on the add/remove programs, because it’s not a fixed tool. it’s a malware and a fraud. if your security program can’t deal with this infection, i recommend deleting personal antivirus manually: http://www.spywarevoid.com/personal-antivirus-removal-guide-remove-personalantivirus.html
It’s highly perilous rogue antispyware. You must get rid of this software ASAP before it minutes your keystrokes (passwords, bank #s, etc.) I suggest you find a free scan and map out if this antivirus software is in fact perilous.
Best of luck,
