I’ve gotten this virus before, which is annoying.
Before, I went into the processes and closed svchast.exe and the Windows AntiVirus Pro process, opened AVG Anti-virus, and deleted it.
Well I got it again, and followed the same process. I ran AVG and it picked up the virus, but when I went to remove it, it came up with a message that said, “Threat can not be removed by standard user rights. Remove as power user?”
I clicked yes on all the ones that it said it on. Then it came up at the end and said that it couldn’t remove the ones on a non-local disk. I only have a C: drive.
What can I do? Is there a different free anti-virus that is better?
I ran Malware Bytes already and it only removed 2 things not related to the Antivirus Pro.

Download, install, update, re-start, then run full scans, in safe mode, with the programs listed…

http://www.superantispyware.com
http://www.lavasoft.com/
Then download, install this…
http://www.ccleaner.com
and run the ‘Registry’ part to remove any, unwanted, remaining entries.

Download installation file of Malwarebytes Anti-malware (mbam-setup.exe) to another computer.
Transfer the file to infected computer by pendrive (USB flash drive),.Try renaming the mbam-setup.exe if installation fails.
Try renaming the mbam.exe if the program installs, but doesn’t run.
